FILM! the fruits of my labors

Finally the wait is over! This crazy journey into the realms of film has produced its fruit! I can't tell you how long I've waited for this day. The day when I look at my work and say, yes! It's good! OK, I can still see many imperfections and countless things to improve and learn about, but I am so happy about where I am right now. It's definitely still a journey, but it just got more exciting! Honestly, I feel a HIGH every time I go out and shoot film. When my film comes back from the lab I can hardly contain myself. When it takes me 20 minutes to edit an entire shoot I want to shout it from the roof tops!! I LOVE MY LIFE!!! I'm seriously smitten. In deep smit. Maybe you can't see the difference like I do, but just believe it. Feel it. Let it speak to you as it has to me. :)

ENJOY!!!

These first photos are of my good friend, Becki. She came over to my house one night and we made a girls' night of playing dress-up and taking pictures. Apparently not much has changed in the past 15 years. :)
