Mexico
Something I love about photography is that it's always challenging me. Something I hate about photography is that it's always challenging me. I don't know if I'll ever wake up and just "have it" and that can be frustrating. It's also seriously fun and exciting to always be wondering how my pictures will turn out or what happens when I do this... Film helps me analyze my every move and make promises to never do that again!
The past few weeks I've traveled quite a bit and tried my hand at "travel" photography. I've always wanted to do it and knew I'd love it if I did. Well, I was right. I LOVED it. I could have spent my entire vacation taking pictures on the streets of Mexico. Unfortunately my husband does not share my passion and got bored very quickly during my photo-taking extravaganzas. Oh well! At the same time, however, I discovered upon receiving my rolls back that I'm not exactly the expert travel photog. Hmm...that doesn't just happen over night? Huh? What's up with that? So, I guess I'll have to practice a bit more before I start procuring a job at National Geographic (forever my dream job). :)
