My girls.

I was never Miss Popularity in high school. I had a few good friends I could count on, and that was enough. That's always been enough. Maybe it stems from the fact that I have four amazing sisters who pretty much fill any lingering void. But whatever the case, I am so thankful for my best friends who have stuck by me through the years in this crazy thing we call life.

I had the opportunity to photograph two of my favorite girls this past month.

The first is my own flesh and blood and I love her like only a mother can.

The second is my best friend, Jesse. We are definitely kindred spirits and if you don't believe it, just ask us how we met. :) It was pretty much fate. hehe...
